Covered bridges are a great feature of you landscapes. We are always excited to find them. We dt have them in the UK. Never enough snow to need them. Over many years we have enjoyed areas like this away from the main highways. Loved the sound of the water as you explored the bridge itself.
Turtle be thinking: “You gonna kill me or are we chill?”
Really lovely bridge. A fine lady. Beautiful area too. Thanks for share. Please take care
This is definitely one of the most beautiful covered bridges and scenery around it that you've covered so far, and many of the others aren't too shabby, at that. Thanks for sharing the adventure once again.
thanks Cliff! 🌉 nice one👍🏾
Love covered bridges great video ty Steve On To The Next YES PLEASE
I guess you need to bring along a tape measure if the bridge height is questionable! Enjoy these videos a lot.😊
Thought that was a frog !?
This is 17 minutes from where I live! 😊 Back in ‘20, we did the covered bridge tour in Bucks County, where they gave us a map and we pretty much drove to each one. I don’t remember if this is one of the bridges we saw. I think it was. But I think we are going to have to visit it again!😊
Peaceful stream. Beautiful bridge. Thanks
Beautiful area to
I think youre right about the white paint. I think the basketweave makes the sides sturdier. I would like to walk in that creek. It looked so refreshing, especially today when it got to 94 degrees. As always.....you know what comes next.😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks awesome bridge
Nice bridge; seems to be in good repair. Thanks for sharing!
O yeah
Aw adorable
Cuteness
I ollie these little guys out on the trail with the MTB. They never say thanks either!😂
Did he have something in his mouth or was that teeth?❤
Some carry salmonella
Nice. The treasure was the spot👍
Used to ride dirt bike all around there.
When I camped at Blue Knob State Park there were racoons that kept me awake most of the night. That and the Kadydids .
That caved looked ideal for raccoons, opossums , snakes, foxes...
In a recent video you dragged your kayak through some poison ivy plants. Did you contract a poison ivy infection? I get itchy just looking at the stuff thanks for the video.
Thanks
Oh yeah that's really awesome
It would be amazing if and when someone found the Doan loot. Great video.
What a beautiful are, I remember seeing it before, just beautiful. They sure picked a lovely spot.. really enjoyed that thanks Cliff. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
I admire and appreciate you very much. Thank you for sharing your videos, which are very serene and reflective
The first covered bridge I explored, Fall of 2000. I remember it well, I had a 1989 Jeep Cherokee at the time .
Awesome. New Jersey has a few, but only one actual historical covered bridge. It was built in 1872. I thought I read somewhere that it is fully intact, but sits on the support structure for a modern bridge, so that the wooden trusses are no longer doing any work. I don't know if that's true or not. It is up in Hunterdon County.
Just went here yesterday. It was very cool. There is a LOT of stone all around the creek near it. I believe I saw that there was a house or two on the other dide of the creek, one of them owned by Hires.
Really nice area. Great video and history. The hike looked a little rugged. You definitely are not claustrophobic crawling in that cave. Wouldn’t that be fun if you found a treasure in there.
Add some hot pepper cheese to that! And you’re set!
Cliff, do you worry about Timber or Rattle snakes? because they like to hang out around rock formations, be careful.
doesn't he name "Wondering Woodsman" give you a clue to Cliff's expertise????
Whoa, chill out. That was kind of a snarky answer for someone who was just expressing concern for Cliffs safety. We’re all friends here. 😊
@@SharonPadget my bad I was just defending Cliff🥰😔
More copperhead territory. Definitely not many timbers in bucks County. He will be just fine!
Interesting video! Beautiful day for a hike; thanks for taking us along!
Very cool revisit! God Bless🙏🙏
If any one is near the Doylestown area, there's a Doan Gang special exhibit at the Mercer Museum right now.
That pony bridge is actually listed as a covered bridge in a few books
First I heard of one. Best I can figure the truss system is coved for protection from the weather. "Covered Bridge, no roof"
@@jayforkner2692 that’s exactly correct.
Thanks Cliff.
Ralph Stover and High Rocks have a long history of deaths both accidental and intentional. I knew Sullivan James Burd's brother and dad. He was an avid climber but unfortunately he passed away from a drug overdose. I know two others that took their lives there.
heartbreaking
Interesting. I remember you telling about the Doan gang. I guess that was a favorite place for the people pictured at the memorial. Safe travels as always. ❤❤❤❤❤
Cool video Woodsman! Thank you for the history and nature put together so well! God Bless!
Cool interesting.Nice area.
Great spot need to get there, keep the shorts coming ty Steve
i have a video of this twin bridge set on my channel, make sure to check out that one and other i covered. i did almost all the bridges in columbia & montour county
Nice one Cliff, the Doan gang has always intrigued me being from the other side of the state. I made a video here a few years ago after watching yours, you do a way better job at explaining it than I ever could. Good stuff 👌🏼
It seems like we don't have anything neat like that around here, doesn't it Bill.
Thay were outlaws, now outlyers.
Oh man I would of went with you I live right down the road from there
